Body Basics take 7
Who: Radagast and SO
Exercise type: Kathy Smith's Body Basics video
Portions of tape: warmup, arms, aerobics, cooldown
Duration: ~40 minutes
Notes: It's a warm night here, which probably contributed to us being too hot and tired after the aerobics portion to continue. Radagast's SO's mom did the warmup and arms portions with us, but reports that the aerobics portion was too fast to follow along with.

Yoga for Beginners take 2
Who: Radagast and SO
Exercise type: Yoga Journal's Yoga for Beginners video
Portions of tape: warmup, standing poses, forward bends, seated poses, inverted poses, deep relaxation (entire tape)
Duration: ~1.5 hours (tape was 1 hour)
Notes: We didn't do nearly as much rewinding as we did the first time we used the tape, which was nice. Radagast needs to work on keeping his back straight during the inverted poses. Radagast's SO's mom came out about 1/4 of the way through the tape, and then plopped down and watched us do the entire rest of the tape, inserting comments now and then.
Soreness report: On Sunday our thighs, shoulders, arms, backs, and sides were all very sore.

Hiking take 1
Type: Hiking
Duration: ~3 miles
Notes: Hiked to (and back from) Second Beach, on the west coast of the Olympic Peninsula. It was a very pleasant hike through moss- and lichen-filled second growth forest, and the beach was very pretty (and nearly empty of people). We even snoozed for a bit on the beach.

Walking to closed restaurant take 1
Type: Walking
Duration: ~5 miles
Notes: To catch the 7:30pm Coho ferry (from Victoria, BC to Port Angeles, WA), we had to leave our car in the ferry's parking lot at noon (and even then we were on standby). We then decided to walk to Haultain's, the fish and chips place we visited last year (link). Unfortunately, after walking more than 2 miles to the restaurant, we found that they were closed for some reason (they're normally open on Sundays, but had a note up saying they were closed).
We never got our precious Haultain's fish and chips :(
